Self-Forgiveness – Let go of old guilt, and remember that you’re God’s perfect child!
And my reading for you – Well, damn. I was hoping for something more–well, hopeful today. I look at this and think, “Ugh, I have to DO something, I have to do WORK on myself.” Right? Is that what you see too?
But it doesn’t have to be “Ugh”. This is really about releasing what is holding you back. I asked my angels to give me a card that would present hope to you (and to me), and they did. I just had to dig a little bit past the surface.
The card is not saying, “Do your therapy homework, meditate, WORK on yourself, journal about your failings…” It is saying, “You are a wonderful person, not a bad person. Mistakes you feel you have made or wrongs you feel you have committed are not supposed to weigh upon you the way they do. Let them go and know that you did what you thought was best at the time.”
You did, didn’t you? When I look back on 2010 and the events that precipitated my move from Austin to Conroe, I can see things I could have done differently that may have made the year a better year. But, at the time, I believed I was doing what was best for me and my family. No question. So I have to forgive myself for creating events I didn’t like. And for failing to discover better solutions.
And that’s what you can do. This card urges you to remember that you are not your “bad” decisions, but that you are a whole and valuable person, someone who does the best she can with what she has, and who strives to do better every day. You do, don’t you?
