Friendship – Make a date for a play day with one or more friends.
And here is my reading for you – You’ve been feeling somewhat lonely and isolated lately, and you feel like it’s not your fault. Maybe you’ve made some efforts, but you wind up just going to work each day and feeling like nobody really cares.
Well, enough of that! Hop off your “pity pot”, as the saying goes, and get ready to have a little fun! Do as the card says: Get together with a friend or two or more. It can be as simple as meeting for coffee with someone you cherish but haven’t seen lately, or as complex as throwing a party.
Whatever you decide to do, make sure it suits your personality. Don’t throw a party if you’re not the party type. And don’t sit quietly in a cafe if that doesn’t sound fun to you.
One last thing: you may want to try something different. One time, my grown daughter and I went to the park to swing on the swings! We had a great time and felt wonderful afterward! Not your everyday activity. So get creative and have a good time.
The whole idea is to shift that lonely/isolated feeling. Doing this “play day” will shift the energy so that you are no longer stuck. (And throw out the pity pot.)
